This online GET S.E.T. training programme is designed for professionals working with girls and young women aged 13+ in the settings of education, youth services, health and social care. In particular it’s suited to those looking for early intervention strategies to support young women to address issues they face with self-esteem, self-acceptance and wellbeing.

The training programme will equip you with all the essential skills you need to guide girls and young women on their own personal empowerment journeys to building their self-awareness, self-esteem, resilience and wellbeing.

Designed to be fun and interactive (we promise!),  the training covers a range of topics through the medium of videos, quizzes, activities and reflections.

We cover four module areas:

  • Self Awareness and Self Esteem
  • Strengths, Needs, Values and Stress
  • Body Image and self Talk
  • Relationships, Boundaries and Communication

In addition to the online course you will also be provided with a printed teachers guide, resource booklet and girls workbooks to support your learning.

Once you sign up, the course will be made available to you for 30 days, so you are welcome to complete it at your leisure during this timeframe. Each participant is unique in their journey, but we expect it to take on average 5-10 hours for you to complete.

On completion of the course you will be able to demonstrate in depth understanding of self esteem, self awareness, empowerment and the pressures faced by young women and girls in today’s communities. You’ll also leave with the knowledge and tools to deliver empowering Get SET Girls sessions to groups of young women, and the confidence to guide girls through their Get SET workbooks across a series of workshops.
